Banner Upgrade May 5

A Banner upgrade is scheduled on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Banner systems, including Leo Online, will not be available for regular use from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

During this time, no payments will be accepted in Banner or Touchnet, nor can any financial transactions be processed in Banner Finance Module.

Important Reminder: Following the Banner upgrade, please clear the cache/cookies in whatever internet browser you typically use before attempting to access the Banner system. (Instructions for Chrome here.)

Banner is the university's centralized academic and administrative records system that allows users to view and work with university data. Access the system through any modern web browser.

Because we value university data, we only grant Banner access to individuals whose jobs require it, and only at a level necessary to perform their job functions.

When you are finished with a Banner session, make sure you properly log out. Logging out of a web-authenticated service is not guaranteed until you properly exit the browser window. To log out, please ensure your browser is 'Closed' (Windows) or 'Quit' (Apple).

Banner Access

Request Banner access online at midas.odu.edu. Once you have been granted access, you'll only be able to access Banner from the on-campus (wired) network or through the campus VPN.
